One of the most decorated Geneva High School athletes, Liz won 17 sectional track championships. She won 12 outdoor and five indoor, the most in Geneva High history. She was the Section V Champ in the 100-meter, 200-meter, 400-meter, and the long jump. She still holds the school record for the 100,200,400-meter dashes as well as the long jump, 400m relay, and the 800m relay. Liz ran in four state meets in the outdoor track placing 3rd in the mile relay her junior year and 5th in the 100 meter her senior year. She also ran in two state indoor track meets. She was league champion in the 100m, 200m, and the long jump.
A 1988 graduate, Liz was an honor student and a member of the Student Council. She also lettered in basketball and cheerleading. Liz went on to run track at Edinboro (Pa.) University.
