Inducted Class of 2019
A prolific scorer Jenn led Section V in scoring her senior year with a 23.6 points per game scoring average and finished her career at Geneva with 1,222 points. She set school career records in assists and steals. Jenn was named to the All-Greater Rochester Girls Basketball Team and the Basketball Coaches Association of New York sectional all-star team her senior year. She was also selected to play in the Ronald McDonald All-Star Game and was named MVP for the Gold Team in the game.
Jennifer spent her Freshman and Sophomore years of college at Division II West Liberty University in West Virginia. She started as point guard and was ranked 2nd nationally in assist turn-over ratio both seasons, as well as ranking in the top 10 category nationally in 3-point field goal percentage and assists per game. She helped the team to the conference finals her Freshman year and also to the NCAA first round games each season. She was selected for the WVIAC all-freshman team in 2009-2010 season. In her sophomore year, she was selected WVIAC all-tournament team. Jennifer transferred to SUNY Oswego where she completed her college basketball career. At Oswego, she ran the point and scored 556 points in one- and one-half seasons. She finished the season third on the team in three-point shots made, fourth in scoring, sixth in assists and seventh in steals.
Jenn earned her NYS Teaching Degree in Early Childhood Education. She is currently an assistant women’s basketball coach at Hunter College where she works with the guards, has recruiting responsibilities, and helps in all areas of the program. Jennifer continues to play basketball in New York City in an Urban Basketball League. One of the teams consists of all men!
