Geneva HS Class of 1982

Bill was a League Champion in pole vault for outdoor track in 1981, setting the GHS pole vault record at 14 ' 2". The very next year, he was a League and Section V Champion in pole vault, taking 6th place in the NYS Championships. Bill took 4th Place in the NYS Championships for indoor track. Both the indoor and outdoor track teams won Sectional Team Titles in 1981 and 1982. Bill was also a stand out football player for the Panthers and was awarded All-League designation his senior season. Bill graduated from Geneva High School in 1982.

After high school Bill entered the US Army. The same qualities that made Bill such a successful athlete helped him to achieve the rank of Sergeant in the 5th Special Forces Airborne and serve his country as a Green Beret. Today Bill resides in Geneva and owns a successful tree surgeon business.
