Jack coached the Geneva High lacrosse team for ten seasons, leading the Panthers to eight Finger Lakes league titles. Jack had an impressive 47-7 mark within the league. He also coached football and volleyball at Geneva and started the lacrosse team at Mynderse Academy.

Jack coached the Eisenhower College lacrosse team for three years and later served as an assistant coach at Skidmore College.  He served for many years as an assistant lacrosse coach at Hobart College. During his time as an assistant, Hobart went 158-59 and made 12 NCAA Division III appearance winning ten national championships. Jack is a member of the Century Club of the U.S. Lacrosse Association. In 1993 Jack was inducted into the Western New York Lacrosse Hall of Fame, sponsored by the Western NY Chapter of the National Lacrosse Foundation.

Jack lettered in football, swimming, and lacrosse at Geneva and was a four-year starter on the lacrosse team. He was awarded the Covert Award as team MVP in 1960. Jack graduated from Hobart in 1964 with a bachelor’s degree in American history. While an undergraduate, he was a goaltender and defenseman for the Statesmen lacrosse team. He taught at his alma mater, Geneva High School for 33 years before retiring in 1997.
