Kay was a 1942 graduate of Geneva High where she participated in basketball and archery. An outstanding bowler, key started in 1950 and bowled for 38 years. Her high average was 182, her high game was 258, and her high three game series was 658. In 1986 she was the City Singles Champion. Kay bowled in 37 New York State Bowling Tournaments and 20 National Bowling Tournaments.
Kay served as President and is a life member of the Finger Lakes Bowling Association. Kay has also served as President and also Secretary-Treasurer of the D’Amico League and Secretary-Treasurer of the Pepsi Cola Classic League. She was one of the founders of the local Junior Bowling League for children 4 to 18 years old and served as bowling coach for this league for 28 years. Kay has truly left her mark on this sport both in Geneva and New York State.
