Charles Kenny Jr., a 1962 Geneva High graduate, was an outstanding three-sport athlete, lettering in football, basketball, and baseball. A three-year starter on the football team Charles gained 500 all-purpose yards in the first two games of his senior year alone, including a 95-yard run against DeSales. In his senior year Charles was named to the Wayne-Finger Lakes All-Conference team. He was a two-year starter on the basketball team averaging 10 points per game and a three-year starter at second base on the baseball team. His batting average was .333.
After graduating, Charles attended Wooster Academy, where he played football, basketball, and baseball. He then attended St. Lawrence University where he played on the football team and graduated with his BA degree in 1968. He attended the University of San Francisco where he earned his masters degree and the University of Colorado where he was awarded his PhD. He went on to become the Dean of Men at the University of San Francisco. He passed away in 1980.
