A highly successful bowling coach Chuck has coached the bowling team at Geneva High for twenty-five years winning five Finger Lakes East boys titles and five girls titles. His 2009-10 girls’ team went 84-0 he first team to ever go undefeated in the FL East. Chuck was named Boys Coach of the Year 2013-2014 season.

Chuck has measured his success not in in the wins and losses however but in the development of the athletes.   He has taken pride in seeing them grow into upstanding citizens from some of the life-long skills they learned from being part of Geneva High School athletics. Skills such as time management, team building and overcoming challenges such as balancing academics with athletics.  He has also taught a life-long love of the sport as many of his bowlers continue to compete in adult leagues. Chuck credits his loyal assistants throughout the years Marty Lozada, Bud Poole and his son Chuck with helping to develop the student-athletes.

A 1971 graduate of Geneva High Chuck graduated from Indiana University and has taught physical education at the elementary level in the Geneva City School District for 35 years. He has also coached both varsity and modified cross country.
