A three-sport star at Geneva High Tony excelled in football, wrestling and lacrosse. He was an All-Wayne-Finger Lakes League 1st-team on both offense and defense his junior and senior years. He served as captain and was Team MVP his senior year. In wrestling he won the league championship his senior year and finished 4th in the sectionals. He also served as team captain and was team MVP that year. He finished 2nd in the league tournament his junior year. Tony was all-league in lacrosse as a senior.

Tony went on to Lebanon Valley College where he was a two-time All-Middle Atlantic Conference defender for the Dutchmen. He helped the Dutchmen to a 24-10 record over the three seasons he played. He was a 1989 inductee to the LVC Athletic Hall of Fame and was also an all-ECAC linebacker for the football team his junior year. In 2013 he was named to the Middle Atlantic Conference All-Century Lacrosse Team.

Tony credits the valuable life lessons he learned while playing sports at Geneva for his success later in life. Upon graduating from Lebanon Valley, he went on Lehigh University to get his masters and went on to study at Villanova. He went into the field of information technology serving as Vice-President for Sacred Heart Hospital in Allenstown, PA as a consultant for the Healthcare Division of Siemens and as a consultant for Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. He was also an adjunct professor for computer science at Moravian College and DeSales University.
