Jeff capped off his outstanding basketball career at Geneva High by being named the Finger Lakes East Player of the Year. Jeff was also named to the All-Greater Rochester 2nd team and was invited to play in the Ronald McDonald All-Star game. He excelled in the classroom as well and was also named to the New York State All-Academic team. He helped lead the Panthers to two league titles and a 38-6 overall record with two of their losses to nationally ranked teams. Jeff also played football and ran track.

Jeff continued to shine on the hardwood at Ithaca College. He was a 2-time Empire Eight 1st team and a 2-time All-East Region selection. He was named the ECAC Tournament MVP in 2005-06. Jeff graduated in 2009 with 1,009 career points and was number 1 in Ithaca College history with 140 blocked shots.
