Danielle, a 1991 graduate of DeSales High, was a three-sport star for the saints and four year starter in each of her sports. In softball, she was MVP all four years. She was a three year MVP in basketball and a two year MVP in soccer. She captained all three of her teams in both her junior year and senior years. Danielle’s list of honors is lengthy. In softball, she was named the Section All-Tournament team in her sophomore, junior, and senior years. In basketball, where she scored more than 1000 points, she was All-League in her sophomore year and 2nd team All-League in her junior and senior years. Danielle received honorable mention All-Greater Rochester in all of her last three years at DeSales.
In college at St. John Fisher, Danielle started at shortstop for all four years of her softball play. She was a tri-captain in her junior and senior years and was named to the NCAA All-Northeast All Star 2nd team. She was a batting champion with a .394 average in 1995, and also led her team with 94 assists. In 1985, Danielle was a member of the Geneva Little League State Championship team.
