1949-50 Basketball Team
Inducted Class of 1996

The 1949-50 Geneva High School basketball team won the Wayne-Finger Lakes and the Section V Class AA Championships.  With an outstanding record of 18-2, the team defeated Hornell in the Section V semi-finals and Madison High in Rochester, New York, for the championship.  Team members were Ray Fryer; Floyd Smith; Jim “Sonny” Wilson, Team Captain; Clarence Wheaton; Fred Searles, Donald Bruno; Jon Kraus; Albert Antinelli; Arnie Bishop; Jerry Deal; Tom Abraham; Dom Passalacqua; Harold “Doc” Bonesteel, Coach.
